    There is a rubber 1 3/4'' plug on the inside of the car interior.&nbsp; It is located at the top of the tunnel (trans) in the middle right before it mets the firewall.     Only a small modification is need on the firewall lip of 1957/58 Fords to install the Y-Block MSD Distributor.&nbsp;The MSD works excellent and offers the most gain in performance over other plain electronic conversions.&nbsp;You can see pictures of my Supercharged Custom firewall with only minor work.&nbsp; John

    Yes there is two different trim pieces.&nbsp; Sounds like you got trim for a 1957 Ford Custom 300.&nbsp; The upper moulding and the gold finish panel are different.&nbsp;The lower moulding is the same for both cars. &nbsp;www.1957ford.com

    Hi Rob,&nbsp; Sounds like someone cut to much off the front springs.&nbsp; You can cut one full coil off the front coil spring and still have plenty of room for a correct alignment.&nbsp; Granada spindles with disc brakes is a great set-up.&nbsp; You will get about a 1 1/2 inch drop.&nbsp; With a standard front coil spring with one full coil cut ...
