As my oem trans has lost the low/reverse band (hence no reverse) I thought about putting an aod behind my Y block. I know where I can get an adapter to make the conversion, problem is the linkage. I installed an aod in a 77 F100 in place of an oem C4 and the linkage took 2 months to any where close to correct. Has anyone put an aod in their 57 and what did you do about the linkage. I don't want to go to a floor shifter, I'd prefer to use the column. Thanks for any answers.
